Welcome to “Good Grief Time Out”, a sector of the Wild Goose that has the Christian community in mind. Six months ago, I lost my wife to cancer. The grief was real and harsh. Research tells us that within three months of a partner dying the chances of the survivor dying increases by 66 percent. (Study in the Journal of Public Health from 12316 participants)
Grief is a lonely place. Your heart is broken, your life is in disarray, and your purpose is lost. It is a time for letting go and a journey of discovering the new you. Good Grief Time Out is not a professional outreach. We try not to give answers or opinions. Good Grief Time Out is a place to be soft and gentle; a place where a broken person is given the respect to grieve. What we are offering is hope, companionship, encouragement, and kindness.
Wild Goose provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive space to host outings and retreats with the intent of emotional healing and grief recovery.
